About the event

The railway was built by the Great Western Railway and opened in 1908 and closed in 1983. This walk starts at the junction with the main line and follows the still intact embankment and track bed to the A33 and will finish on the site of the now closed Central Goods Depot close to the Oracle.

Come along and hear about the history of the line.

Tour starts from outside 256 Wensley Road, RG1 6DP

Amount of walking - approximately 2 miles

Tour finishes in Fobney Street, RG1

Please note this is a linear walk that finishes some way from the start point which is served by the 11 bus.
